System Administration
System Administration comprises system management and monitoring modules/tools. The credit bureau users only are entitled to have access to the following tools in accordance with assigned permissions.
  • Users Management - This component is a flexible User Management System initiated for enterprise-scale software systems. It allows to distinguish both the company (credit bureau) and its partner organizations (customers), as well as their users as internal and external users correspondingly. The user management system is enhanced with different authorization (security) facilities which ensure system protection from any type of attacks from outside.
  • Data Package Management - One of the most important advantages of the Credit Bureau software system is the availability of different kinds of tools and/or sub-components providing users with opportunities for intervention in and control over the data package processing flow. Such opportunities are:
    • Conversion stage restrictions - the eligible system user may define restrictions to data conversion stages for certain data provider, and in this case, the data conversion will be paused on the restricted stage.
    • Data package deletion - the package deletion means removing all the data submitted by that package from the system database. It also raises the necessity to revise the errors tracking of all later packages.
    • Data package reconversion - it assumes correction of revealed invalid data (if it concerns corresponding dictionaries incompleteness) through completing corresponding dictionaries with missing values and reconverting the package errors only.
  • Dictionary Management - One of the general principles of the system design is to minimize the possibility of wrong data entry and increase the effectiveness of search tools. Thus, special Dictionary Management System is used which implies creation of different kinds of dictionaries for any particular field name as well as field values which are in case of necessity selected from available lists instead of being inserted manually. This component is also used for Errors Grouping purposes for a huge number of available errors, which assumes specifying error groups and subgroups, and allocating the errors to specific sub-groups/groups.
  • Group Privileges - Universal Privilege System is a universal tool allowing specifying ex-officio group privileges for different types of system users, which determines access permissions to system pages and assumed actions. The system requires definition of system web pages and listing of the available actions for each one of them, and finally creating privilege groups comprising corresponding web pages and relevant actions. These privilege groups are assigned to certain users (ether internal or external) while creating/editing user accounts.
  • MIS Reporting - The system provides users with a wide range of ready-made MIS Reports enabling an effective monitoring and control over the system and operations. Moreover, the system is enriched with universal tools allowing to generate different kind of reports: (1) Query Builder is a universal tool allowing common users with no knowledge of database functionality to compose any kind of database queries (SQL) and manage the result fields, as well as to store those configurations for further usage; (2) Reports Generator - Reports generator is a universal tool allowing to compose compound statistical reports via the result fields of different database queries by means of simple drag-and-drop operations; (3) Data Form Converter allows converting specific database query result fields into the necessary data form, in other words, data form converter copies data from one table into another in accordance with given prerequisites/rules.
  • Invoicing - The Invoicing Component undertakes billing action according to the local tax legislation for the services performed to each partner organization. It is essential that the invoices are provided for each type of service (credit reporting, data subjects' monitoring, penalties, etc.) separately.
